OnNovember 22, the 5th Global Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Innovation &Entrepreneurship Symposium was convened at Zhejiang University. Themed on“Innovation empowers high-quality development,” it attracted 300 distinguishedparticipants in academic and business circles.

Presentat the symposium were HUANG Zhengqiang, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Federation ofIndustry and Commerce, and WU Xiaocheng, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee ofZhejiang University.

“Sincethe founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago, especially afterthe reform and opening up, Zhejiang entrepreneurs have pioneered new trails andcreated the legends of innovation and entrepreneurship, thus making immensecontributions to the development of Zhejiang Province and even the wholecountry. This symposium deals with the mechanism of entrepreneurial innovationand development in the new era as well as the mode of high-quality development,which can bring enlightenment to Zhejiang businessmen,” HUANG Zhengqiangpointed out.

“ZhejiangUniversity has actively explored a novel approach to innovation-drivenentrepreneurship education, and created a golden brand for innovation andentrepreneurship with its own characteristics. In the future, it will alsocontinue to adhere to the spirit of Zhejiang, work assiduously and creatively,and promote the construction of a world-class university with Chinesecharacteristics,” said WU Xiaocheng.

Aspart of the 5th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention, this symposiumwas hosted by Zhejiang University.
